Singapore Seniors Pickleball League Opens to a Packed House

Players and supporters from the participating clubs gather at Dover Court for the opening night of the Singapore Seniors Pickleball League, holding their paddles high beneath the league banner.

The inaugural Singapore Seniors Pickleball League (SSPL) kicked off on Friday evening, 09/10/2026, at Dover Court. More than 150 players, captains and supporters filled the hall for the first night of competition.

From the first rally, the atmosphere was electric. Teams in their club colours cheered each other on from the sidelines. Paddles were raised high for the opening group photo beneath the SSPL banner. Between matches, players swapped stories and greeted old friends and new rivals.

“Seeing more than 150 people fill the hall on the very first night, with this much energy and laughter, tells us seniors in Singapore were ready for a league of their own. Thank you to every captain, player and supporter who made opening night so special.” — James Kow, Founder, Singapore Seniors Pickleball League

SSPL brings together seniors from social clubs across Singapore for a season of friendly competition. The league is built on fair play, camaraderie and staying active together.

The league continues on 16 October 2026. Follow the league page for fixtures, results and standings.
